Father Christmas is off on his journey around the world and, thanks to Google, you can now follow along with him.
But the annual Google ‘Santa Tracker’ gives up-to-the-minute information on where Kris Kringle is as he delivers Christmas presents to children all over the world.
It runs through Google Maps but is also available on Google’s Santa Tracker dashboard which you can find on your browser.
Just click through on this link.
Google says that during his journey, Father Christmas visits every country and 419 different locations over the course of 25 hours.
This includes the ruins of the ancient city of Myra, Turkey, where the legendary St. Nicholas was the bishop; Rovaniemi, Finland, which many consider to be the “home of Santa Claus;” and as always he’s taking a quick pass by Santa Claus, Indiana.
If the Google app is causing you grief there is an alternative. The OG of Santa tracking apps – NORAD has also gone live today.
Unfortunately, we can’t tell from the Santa Tracker whether or not the jolly old guy will stop by your house this evening.
It depends if you’ve been naughty or nice.
