Three people were injured following a knife attack on board a bus in London in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
One victim, 34, remains in critical condition in hospital with a stab wound, while two others had slash injuries.
Reports suggest the driver of the N25 bus ‘pulled the panic button’ during the incident, which police were called to at around 12.45am in Tower Hamlets.
A 34-year-old man was given first aid for stab injuries but had to be taken to an east London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Two other men – aged 34 and 22 – were also taken to hospital for treatment to slash injuries but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and remains in custody at an east London police station.
