A woman has been arrested after allegedly setting up a man she matched with on a dating app to be carjacked.

Brionna Eaddy, 24, and a 35-year-old Orlando man who met on the Tagged app met in person at an apartment complex parking lot in Titusville, Florida, according to her arrest warrant affidavit. They had been communicating for a few days prior.

Eaddy got into her date’s SUV and they drove to a park which turned out to be closed, states the affidavit obtained by FOX 35 News. The man then drove his 2013 Mazda CX9 back to the apartment on Rock Pit Road that he believed was Eaddy’s home.

While in the passenger’s seat, Eaddy was texting on her phone and at one pointmade a phone call, cops said.

Two men were waiting for them when they arrived back at the lot around 11.50pm on September 24. One of the men brandished a gun and demanded that Eaddy’s date step out of his vehicle and surrender the keys.

While the victim followed the orders, Eaddy ‘calmly exited the vehicle’ and seemed ‘to just stand around and wait’, according to the affidavit.

Then the suspects ordered the victim to lay on the grass, after which Eaddy got into the SUV with them and they all fled.

The victim reported his vehicle stolen to police and showed them pictures of Eaddy that he had received through texts.

A warrant was issued for Eaddy’s arrest. She was taken into custody on Saturday on an armed carjacking felony charge. Eaddy, of Titusville, has been booked into Brevard County jail and remained there without bond as of Wednesday morning.

It was not immediately known if her accomplices were arrested.
