The names and faces of the 15 teenagers killed in London this year

These are the 15 teenagers who have been killed in London so far this year.

Communities across the capital have been rocked by the deaths of these teens, 13 of whom were stabbed to death while two were shot.

They make up almost a fifth of the 79 people killed in London so far in 2023.

The latest victim, 15-year-old Elianne Andam, was attacked on her way to school in Croydon on Wednesday morning.

Croydon itself was referred to as ‘London’s knife crime capital’ after five teenagers were fatally stabbed there in 2021, Sky News reports.

These are the 14 other London teenagers who have died far too young.

Chima was fatally stabbed after being chased by an attacker in Chingford, east London. Two 16-year-old boys have been charged with murder.

Tyler died after being found with a gunshot wound in Tottenham, north London.

Eight people have been charged with his murder.

They are: Tyrese Barnett and Leo Reid, both 19, Shernez Walters, 19, Tyrese Matthews, 20, Damaris McBeth, 19, Rhys Antwi, 19, Alfred Coker, 20, and Kalam Bagge, 18.

Barnett has also been charged with attempting to murder another man and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life. Reid has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon.

Wazabakana, known as Jordan, from Romford in Essex, was stabbed to death near Dagenham Heathway Underground Station.

A 15-year-old boy was charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Days later, two boys aged 16 and 17, and a 20-year-old man called Michael Tommy Mgagba, from Essex, were also charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of an offensive weapon.

Renell, a pupil at Kelmscott School in Walthamstow, was fatally stabbed in the chest near his school.

A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with his murder.

Khaled was found with stab wounds in Paddington Green, central London.

Victor was found stabbed in a canal under Scrubs Lane, near Willesden Junction in west London.

Three teenage boys, aged 14, 15 and 17, have appeared in court charged with murder and robbery. They pleaded not guilty and will go on trial on 7 May next year.

Leonardo was killed during a music video shoot in Archway, north London. A 23-year-old, Klevi Shekaj, was also killed.

Three men appeared in court in connection with their deaths. Abel Chunda, 27, was charged with two counts of murder, one of attempted murder and one of possession of an offensive weapon.

Eden Clark, 29, was charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder and possession of a knife.

Jason Furtardo, 26, has been charged with two counts of murder, one of attempted murder, and another of possessing an offensive weapon.

Andre was riding a moped when he was shot in the chest in Tottenham, north London.

Reagan Konin, 18, appeared in court in July charged with murder, possession of a firearm and of an offensive weapon in a private place, possession with intent to supply class A drugs, and affray.

Rahaan was stabbed in the heart in West Ham Park in Newham, east London.

Six people were arrested. One, 16, is due to appear in court on 3 October charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Claudyo was killed in a street fight following a birthday party in Kilburn, north west London.

Stefan was stabbed in Edgware, north London.

Five teenage boys – four aged 16 and one 17, have appeared in court charged with his murder. They will go on trial at the Old Bailey on 10 June next year.

Yusuf was found with fatal knife injuries near a supermarket in Finchley, north London.

Tyrese Jennings, 20, has appeared in court charged with his murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Two 15-year-old boys also appeared at youth court charged with murder.

Anis was stabbed in Stanmore, north London.

Saeed Ibrahim, 18, appeared in court in September charged with murder.

Max was stabbed in Jubilee Country Park in Petts Wood, south east London.

An investigation has been launched and images of two men police want to speak to have been released, but no arrests have been made.

Elianne was stabbed on her way to school in Croydon, south London.

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of her murder.
