Three people have been injured after a shooting in the Netherlands.
The incident happened during a summer carnival in the Dutch port city of Rotterdam tonight, according to police.
Officers fired several shots at the gunman.
Both the shooter and the victims were taken to hospital having suffered injuries.
However, it’s not known how badly hurt they are.
A shooting had taken place earlier in the day during the same event, police said in a separate statement.
Terrifying videos show huge crowds of people desperately running away from the scene of the incident.
Another video filmed from above the scene showed a huge emergency response.
Dozens of police officers can be seen blocking off the area around where the incident took place as paramedics rush to assist.
Dutch police said the shootings took place in Coolsingel, which is a street in the centre of Rotterdam.
A Dutch Caribbean festival, called Zomercarnaval, has been taking place in the city today.
It’s known for being one of Europe’s biggest street parties.
A huge police cordon is now in place around the scene with red and white tape blocking access.
There is also a large-scale police presence in the area.
