A lucky Lotto player has won a £7.1 million rollover jackpot.
The huge prize would be enough to buy two private islands in the Bahamas, 19 Rolls-Royce Phantoms, or more than 8,000 iPhone 14s.
The winning Lotto numbers, announced tonight, were 02, 06, 07, 29, 31, 42 – and the bonus number was 09.
Set of balls eight and draw machine Merlin were used.
Five players matched five of six numbers and the bonus ball to win £1 million each, while 134 bagged £1,750 for matching five of six.
No-one matched Lotto HotPicks however, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, but eight players matched four numbers to claim £13,000.
And n-one matched all the Thunderball numbers, leaving a prize of £500,000 unclaimed.
However, four people won £5,000 each after matching five numbers – missing out on the Thunderball – while 43 players took home £250.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 14, 16, 22, 28, 36 – and the Thunderball was 09.
