A man and two boys have been charged with the murder of a ‘kind-hearted and loving’ teenager in Wolverhampton.
Ronan Kanda, 16, died at the scene after being attacked with a knife just before 9pm on Wednesday.
A post-mortem examination revealed he had been stabbed twice on Mount Road in Lanesfield.
Josiah Francis, 20, from Birmingham, and two 16-year-old boys – who cannot be named for legal reasons – will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
A 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man who had also been arrested on suspicion of murder have been released on bail.
Ronan’s family has paid tribute to him, saying their hearts have been shattered by his death.
‘Ronan was a kind-hearted, loving, caring 16-year-old. Our son and a brother who would do anything for anyone’, the family’s spokesperson said.
‘He was a funny character who made everyone laugh around him. He is taken from us cruelly and our hearts are broken.
‘We want everyone to pray for his soul now. We will always love you our son and my brother and you will live within us now.’
