Celebrations are in order for Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and future Queen Consort.

Camilla is reaching a milestone birthday today, July 17, and she’s already had quite the time celebrating.

As a tribute to her birthday, the Duchess guest edited an edition of Country Life magazine, with her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, taking the photos.

Camilla also got to boop noses with puppies this week – some might say the ultimate birthday present.

What special birthday is Camilla celebrating this year?

Camilla recently opened up about her views on aging, with her first photoshoot for British Vogue.

Despite jokingly calling herself an ‘old bat’ in the interview, Camilla shared a poignant moment about reaching this milestone, revealing ‘You know, my mother died when she was 72, so I’ve out-lived my mother, which is quite strange.’

Still, the future Queen is keeping up with the kids, as she also admitted in the same interview playing Wordle with her grandchildren every day.

Who are Camilla’s children?

She might have some of the most famous stepchildren in the world in Prince William and Prince Harry, and their respective wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, but Camilla has some children from her previous marriage.

She has a daughter, Laura Lopes, and a son, Tom Parker Bowles.

Laura, 44, is an art curator with three children of her own, Eliza Lopes, Louis Lopes and Gus Lopes.

Tom, 47, is a food critic and cookbook writer with two children, Lola Parker Bowles and Freddy Parker Bowles.

Charles and Camilla were married on April 9, 2005.

The two were wed in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall. The Queen and Prince Philip, Charles’ parents, were not in attendance for the wedding but were present at the Service of Prayer and Dedication and held a reception for the couple in Windsor Castle afterwards.

The Queen notoriously took a while to accept the relationship, but she has since given Camilla her full backing, expressing it is her wish that the pair will be ‘crowned side by side’ when the time comes.
