Faced with a living cost crisis, many are finding nifty ways to cut down their monthly outgoings.
This has led to millions cutting down on their subscriptions for streaming platforms, such as Netflix and Spotify Premium.
Ready to part with your NOW membership?
Here is everything you need to know about cancelling your subscription – and whether there are any cheaper plans you can switch to.
How to cancel your NOW membership
It’s a pretty simple process to cancel your NOW membership.
NOW recommends you use a desktop, laptop, or tablet to cancel your subscription, as opposed to a mobile phone.
Here is what you need to do:
- Log in to your NOW account on your desktop, laptop, or tablet
- Navigate to ‘NOW Membership’
- Click ‘Cancel Membership’ next to the type of subscription you no longer want
- Follow the onscreen steps
Once your NOW membership is successfully cancelled, you will receive a confirmation message on screen, as well as a confirmation email within three hours.
When you cancel your NOW membership, you will still be able to keep watching NOW shows up until the date your next payment was due.
If you pay for your NOW Membership through a BT plan you will need to cancel through them as well – to do this, visit the BT website.
Similarly, if you have subscribed to NOW membership through iTunes, you will need to cancel your subscription through Apple by visiting the ‘Subscriptions’ tab on your settings app.
What is the cheapest NOW TV plan?
There are five different types of plans under NOW: NOW Entertainment, NOW Cinema, NOW Sports, and NOW hayu.
NOW hayu is the cheapest membership of the four plans as it comes at just £4.99 per month.
This plan gives you access to stream US reality shows such as Keeping Up With The Kardashians and Real Housewives.
