After a month-long fast, Muslims across the globe will be looking forward to celebrating the end of Ramadan with Eid al-Fitr.
Eid al-Fitr 2022 will begin on Monday, May 2, and end on the evening of Tuesday, May 3.
It is a very important date in the Islamic calendar, with Muslims marking the festival through prayer, feasting, sharing gifts, and giving to charity.
Here are some greetings and messages you can share to mark the joyous occasion…

If you have friends, family, or neighbours celebrating, you can say ‘Eid Mubarak’, which translates as ‘have a blessed Eid’ in English.
