Aldi is a staple on the British high street, with currently more than 930 stores across the UK.
The German supermarket chain is known for having amazing deals and discounts, making it the ideal place to go to grab your Sunday roast essentials.
But when is Aldi open on Sundays?
Here is all you need to know.
What time does Aldi open on a Sunday?
Opening times can vary from branch to branch, but Sunday opening hours are usually open between 11am and 5pm.
Aldi stores are typically open from 8am to 10pm on weekdays and Saturday.
You can find your nearest Aldi branch by using its store locator tool.
This will also tell you the exact opening times for your chosen store.
What are Aldi’s Christmas opening times?
Again, Aldi opening times vary across branches, so it is worth checking your local store times.
However, most stores will be open for the following times this year:
- December 23: 7am – 10pm
- Christmas Eve: 7am – 6pm
- Christmas Day: Closed
- Boxing Day: Closed
When is the best time to shop at Aldi?
Google has a handy tracker which you can use to see Aldi’s busiest and quietest times, on any day of the week.
If you search for ‘Aldi’ using Google search, and then click on your nearest store, it will show chart of the store’s busiest times for each hour of the day it is opening.
For Sunday, the busiest times average between 11am and 1pm.
Can I order online shopping from Aldi?
You can’t order groceries online from Aldi in the same way as other supermarkets.
In some locations, you can use Deliveroo to order Aldi groceries for delivery to your door within as little as 30 minutes.
You will have to pay for delivery and how much that costs can depend on your location.
The delivery fee is around £4.50 and then there’s a service fee of around 30p.
For non-grocery items, including Aldi Specialbuys, you can order online directly from the Aldi website.
