People have been warned to keep doors and windows closed after a large fire broke out at an industrial estate in Kidderminster.
Twenty fire engines are at the blaze on Frederick Road, Hoo Farm industrial estate, which has been evacuated while several nearby roads have been closed.
Video and photos shared online show the scale of the incident, with smoke billowing over houses.
Wyre Forest MP Mark Garnier tweeted that they were ‘worrying scenes’.
‘Our second big fire in just a few months,’ he said. ‘Hoping that everyone is safe and well, and incredibly grateful to those @HWFire who rush towards danger to keep us all safe.’
Kidderminster College tweeted that there was a ‘large’ fire and said: ‘Please be aware that we have closed our Vocational Skills Centre’.
They said the main campus remained open as usual but urged people: ‘Please stay safe when travelling and avoid the area if possible.’
Hoobrook Roundabout is now closed due to the fire, with the closure points at Stourport end of Wilden Lane, Chester Road South by the viaduct, Ringway junction at Worcester Road roundabout and the A449 closed from junction A442.
It is thought to have broken out at MCD Kidderminster, a carpet and other flooring distributor.
West Midlands Ambulance Service have also responded to the blaze.
