A ‘large, naked man’ flashed US President Joe Biden as he was on his way to the COP26 eco-summit.

According to the White House reporters’ pool report on Mr Biden’s journey, his huge motorcade was not the only spectacle on his trip to Glasgow.

The American President had been en route to the summit inside his armoured Cadillac ‘Beast’ when the naked man took a picture of the president’s fleet of vehicles from his front window.

BBC reporter Jon Sopel tweeted: ‘From the White House pool report on @POTUS journey from Edinburgh to Glasgow: ‘At one point when we were still on smaller country roads, a large, naked Scottish man stood in his front window taking a picture of the motorcade with his phone.

‘Welcome to Scotland, Mr President.’

The location of the incident has not yet been confirmed and his team has not made an official statement on it.

Like many other world leaders, Mr Biden is not staying in Glasgow for his trip to Scotland.

He is thought to be staying at the luxury Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, near the West Lothian village of Kirknewton.

Last night the President’s motorcade was spotted filling up at a petrol station in Edinburgh before taking the enormous convoy back and forth from Glasgow every day trailed by a helicopter.

This comes only hours before Mr Biden criticised the leaders of China and Russia for not turning up to the conference.

He said climate was ‘a gigantic issue’ and China ‘walked away’ – adding it was the ‘same thing with Russia and Putin’.

Neither Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Chinese leader Xi Jinping are at the summit.

Both countries however have sent delegations to the talks, which are due to run for two weeks until November 14.
