Flames could be seen for miles as the blaze erupted at around 9.40pm in Blaenavon, Torfaen.
Locals were warned to keep their doors and windows closed due to ‘large smoke plume’.

Two fire engines and a high-volume pump were used to fight the flames.
South Wales Fire and Rescue are carrying out an inspection.
There is expected to be travel disruption in the area today as Gwent Police close the road to deal with the aftermath.
