A teenager has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the neck on a residential street in east London.
The girl, 14, was attacked at around 3pm on Eynsford Road in Ilford.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and the child was raced to a major trauma centre. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Another female has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
An investigation has been launched into the case.
A crime scene is still in place, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said this evening.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: ‘We were called at 3:01pm today to reports of a stabbing on Eynsford Road, Ilford.
‘We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a medic in a car, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance.
‘We treated a teenage girl at the scene and took her to a major trauma centre.’
