Two men have been arrested as an urgent search to find a pensioner, 71, missing for six days continues.
Louise Kam’s disappearance is said to be ‘entirely out of character’, with her two sons and the rest of her family ‘extremely worried about her’.
She was last seen by a relative near the Spires Shopping Centre in Barnet, north-west London, at around 12.30pm on Monday.
The mum-of-two is believed to have driven a black BMW 3 Series convertible from Borehamwood to Barnet on the same day.
It’s thought she then made her way to the Willesden High Road area in the afternoon.
Her vehicle, which has the registration LM11 ECJ, was found by police in north-west London on Wednesday.
The Metropolitan Police has urged anyone with information to come forward, as two men are arrested in connection with the investigation. They remain in custody.
Ms Kam, from Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, has been described as a Chinese woman of around 5ft 4in and slim build.
She has long black hair, brown eyes, usually dresses smartly and often carries a red handbag.
Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, from Specialist Crime said: ‘Officers are also becoming increasingly concerned for Louise’s safety.
‘It is vital that anyone who knows anything gets in touch with police or Crimestoppers as a matter of urgency.’
