Two men in their twenties have been charged with murdering a 71-year-old woman who has been missing for seven days.
Louise Kam was last seen by a relative near the Spires Shopping Centre in Barnet, north-west London, shortly after midday on Monday, July 26.
Her black BMW 3 Series convertible was found empty on Wednesday.
Mohammed El Abboud, 26, from Barnet, and Kusai Al-Jundi, 23, from Harrow, were arrested on Sunday and have since been charged with murder.
Ms Kam, a mother of two described as originally from China, is thought to have driven her car from Borehamwood to Barnet on the day she vanished.
Detectives believe she then travelled to the Willesden High Road area in the afternoon.
Her family described her disappearance as ‘entirely out of character’.
The two suspects are due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on August 2.
